How Obama is blowing it

August 25th, 2008

Obama is blowing it and will likely lose in November. Thats a pretty bold title on this post isnt it? Let me begin by saying that I hope that Im wrong in this one. And if I am, come November I will be happy to eat these words - but lately […]

Superstitions are for Morons

June 9th, 2008

Are you superstitious? A superstition is to believe in sometimes-irrational things or beliefs. And I gotta admit, even though I try not to be, I have some weird and seemingly irrational beliefs. I am a very methodical and logical person and believe that everything can and should be explained, and if something is […]

Kiva :: Finally a Way to Help the Poor

February 2nd, 2008

Over the years Ive been increasingly frustrated about wanting to do something, anything that had a direct profound affect on the world’s poor. The biggest threat to World Peace and the general well-being of the human race is poverty. Hunger alone kills dozens and dozens of people every minute.
I’ve always wanted […]

We’re Still Here

December 6th, 2007

I can not believe that after almost three years we’re still here. Here being nowhere. We are nowhere near the end to the killing and genocide in Darfur. I wrote about it back in early 2006. I wrote about it again later in 2006. I wrote about it earlier this […]

101 things I’ve learnt in my 32 years

December 4th, 2007

You can not (and should not) make decisions on behalf of others, even if you meant to protect them from harm. Even if you had the best of intentions at heart.

Dude, where’s my gPhone?

November 18th, 2007

For months now we have been bombarded with speculation about a “game changing” and “breakthrough” mobile phone from everyone’s favourite search engine company. The gPhone was gonna change the world. It was gonna kill the iPhone and Nokia N95 and other smart phones and eat their spare parts for lunch!
Instead - […]

Conditional Support for Democracy

November 8th, 2007

“All who live in tyranny and hopelessness can know: the United States will not ignore your oppression, or excuse your oppressors. When you stand for your liberty, we will stand with you.”
- President Bush, Inauguration Address 2005.
President Bush: do your words above not apply to the people of Pakistan? Or Myanmar? […]

Putin accuses Bush of provoking the Georgia conflict to help McCain. Although I dont agree with it Putin, its not without merit. Remember, the Republicans have nothing other than war and national security to run on, so they will scary the American people and make wars out of nothing, just to get the people to vote for them. Thats why they won in 2004. And I can bet you come late October or so, Im sure there will be a “credible terrorist threat” or something of the like that hits America. All they know is to scare people.

The latest release from friskyRecords comes straight in at Number 1 in the ProgressiveHouse.com charts! Straight in at Number One baby! I feel especially good about this one because this was the first release on friskyRecords that I picked up, rather than commissioning DJs to make us a track for release. This track was 100% my choice that I heard and immedaitely knew I wanted to sign on friskyRecords. This proves that no matter what I should trust my gut. Thats what Ive always done with friskyRadio, and now its time to do the same with friskyRecords.
