Manhattan Expressways

As someone that has driven in Manhattan, I welcome the idea of a Manhattan Expressway. It literally takes 30 to 45 minutes to drive from one side of Manhattan to the other due to traffic, even tho the distance is only a couple of blocks.

The problem there is that if you did actually build an expressway across Manhattan it would be jammed with traffic morning, noon, and night. Driving across wouldn’t be any quicker.
