Hand of God?

April 7th, 2009

Of course religious people will see the hand of God in this real image from Space. All I see is a wicked-cool image about how awesome and brilliant Space is. So. Fucking. Cool!!!! God? Or just coincidence? You be the judge:

In a new image from NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, high-energy X-rays emanating from the nebula around PSR B1509-58 have been colored blue to reveal a structure resembling a hand reaching for some eternal red cosmic light.

Here’s the link to the image in NASA’s site.

Story here.

Funny you found that now, I’m just working on a new music video containing stuff like this (in form of video footage from Hubble). :)

It is a great universe - but it really does belong to God - and He really is cool and even freaky when He wants to be!

Rcrazy No it doesnt. If you want to continue believing in some things that dont exist go ahead. While youre at it, let Santa know that I want a Bentley this Christmas.

Funny considering Santa is based on a real person. Guess God is real.

Why is every atheist fighting some religious war ? “look a cool picture of space *insert unnecessary slide at god”
It’s sad because you think those are your own thoughts. None of you say anything I haven’t heard on family guy, the simpsons, or other pop culture garbage. Clear your head idiots, and stop attacking people who really don’t give a fuck about what you believe in….A stance you would be wise to take.
Attack back if you want, you’re not fighting a battle, you’re fighting people who have no choice but to defend themselves against your close minded ignorance. Believe what you want…

..And thanks for the pic upload, was having trouble finding actual pictures of space that looked sick.

Excellent post about how Twitter in the end will be the big winner rather than Facebook.

Slow and steady always wins the race. Always. Its what I believe in when it comes to FRISKY and in everything else I try to do.

Watch the trailer for JJ Abrams’ new TV show Revolution. Looks good but then so did Alcatraz, which turned out to be a dud. Lets hope this lives up to the hype.

RIP so-called Social Readers. The Facebook Social Reader is the worst piece of crap ever. You click on an article your friend supposedly read and instead of taking you to the story, it takes you to an app. Thats when I closed the app and never went to the story. I wasnt the only one.

Fascinating story of American Airlines’ AAirPass - an all-you-can-fly elite program that you can purchase for $350,000. Considering how much you can travel (unlimited, first class), I think $350K is a great deal if you have the money. And time I guess.

The San Pelligrino 50 Best Restaurants in the World list is better than the Michelin list, and their 2012 ratings are right on. Per Se at 6 and not surprisingly Eleven Madison Park jumps from 24 to 10! It is that good. I expect it to be in the Top 5 next year for sure. Another one to watch out for next year: Atera in New York.

Couldnt agree with this more… Apple should buy Foursquare and Square:

To summarize: after the deal, Apple will immediately become a giant payments company, with an installation base that is expected to encompass half of all mobile devices sold. The company will have the best local search abilities, far exceeding any existing recommendation engine. And due to its enormous reach, it will possess a payment system that merchants will line up to support.

Perfectly boring still life objects made incredibly NSFW. Quite awesome how at first you see the shots, you dont see anything but erotica. But then when you realise what it is, you have to try and see anything but the every-day object.
