Weekend = Boooring

This weekend has sucked. Havent really done anything of substance except sit on my behind and watch the telly and type this post. Oh, I did update the friskyRadio site with the latest Artist of the Week bio and made some banners for rotation… I also started on a Ruby on Rails framework for the new friskyradio next-generation web site that I’ve been thinking about for the better half of 2007. Anyone that knows me knows how long it takes me to go from thinking about a site redesign to actually doing it. I remember our last website redesign took about 13 months from concept to reality. But this time its different, damnit. This time the next-gen site, which is codenamed “V3″ (I know, creative isnt it?), not only will have a new look and feel but loads of great new features. I will hopefully write more about these features sometime soon… Rest assured, they are something that no one is doing in the Internet Radio space at the moment, so Im very excited about it.

But I digress… What was I saying? Oh yea, the weekend… Yea, it sucked.

    I’m pretty sure that the new friskyradio site will rock’em all away like friskyradio already does the way it is now. Lemme me know when you’re in need of any help with GFX or sumthin’. :)

    At least you started working on it. I know this step from brain to screen …. fuckin’ hard. I have the same problem, always only changing little bits of things although I need to completely remake it all. What sucks the most is all the backing up of databases and the other shit, new coding and re-implementing all functions, plus integrating the new ones. I’m running away from this for months now.

    Keep on rockin’ dude, you’ll blast them all away. :)

Which is of course true. As you all know, Im Agnostic - and believe that the Bible and Koran are not “holy books” written by God but by wise, intelligent men trying to make a difference. Im glad we finally have a president that doesnt ask God about what to do. Religion is history, not divinity.
