Aperture vs. Lightroom: What do the pros use?

* 66.5% using the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in
* 23.6% using Lightroom
* 5.5% using Aperture

Im one of the 23.6% that use Lightroom. I used Aperture for a little bit and found it to be sluggish and totally worthless. Its a piece of crap. Lightroom is brilliant and I use it to do some minor digital-darkroom stuff, before doing the bulk of my post-processing in PhotoShop.

    I’m using Adobe Camera RAW plugin, but make sure that you are using the last version, that is available from Adobe website for free. The plugin that my CS2 has was crappy, but the new version kick ass. Now I do all my post-processing in the plugin, it’s fantastic.

    I use Aperture all the time now, mainly due to me using it from the start and really liking the workflow and management side.

    Lightroom to me was just, well too light :0)

    Daniel: I used Lightroom, before I started using Aperture… And now Im back to using Lightroom… The very latest version of Lightroom even puts PhotoShop to shame in some of its processing… Its worth another look if you havent used Lightroom in a while.

Today’s Weird Japanese News Story comes from the dirty world of murder crimes and Police Investigations: Police was frantically called to a murder investigation… After a complete day of panic and “police activity,” it was determined that the “victim” was in fact a sex-doll.
