I finally watched the two last episodes of season 3 of LOST last night. I agree with Stephen, I *hated* the season finale as well. There were only about one or two really good parts in it - the rest of was all crap. Here are some thoughts:

1. As soon as I saw the Junkie Jack with his long beard I knew that this was’nt a flashback but rather a flashforward. I think this was the only good thing about the finale. Telling us what would happen if they were to get off the island. I think that this is the final ending, something we will eventually get to when LOST ends for good in three years. We probably wont start next season in LA, but rather we will be back at the Island and we will be working toward this ending. If I am right - than thats pretty brave of the writers to tell us the eventual ending, don’t ya think?
2. Who’s funeral was it? My guess? John Locke. Or Ben… My guess is that eventually we will find out that Ben is really a great guy. Yea right.
3. Is Charlie really dead? I hope not!
4. Regarding Number 1 above, the flashforward is probably some sort of alternate universe, where some people that are dead in this universe are alive. Case in point - when Jack says to the other doctor, “Go get my father now, and if he is more drunk than me…” That means his father is alive… Confused yet? Weird.

Now I need to catch up on the finales of Heroes and House; arguably two of the hottest shows on TV at the moment.
