Best Previews of 2006

I enjoy previews sometimes even more than the movie itself. Whenever I go to watch a movie, I always go earlier to make sure I dont miss out on any previews. Yes, Im the dork in the theater that actually claps and aplauds after watching the Transformers, Batman and any Star Wars preview. Yes Im a geek, sue me!

Here are my nominations for the 5 Best Previews of 2006, in no particular order:

  • 300. Trailer 1. Trailer 2. Since Gladiator is one of my all-time favourite movies, you can imagine how much Im looking forward to this one… Holy Shit! And it looks nothing like anything Ive seen before. Bring it!!!
  • Transformers. I had a shit-eating-grin through out this preview. WOW!
  • Devil Wears Prada. This preview was simply genius!
  • Little Children. Doesnt give anything away, yet you know exactly whats going on in this brilliant preview.
  • Gears of War. Preview here. Whoever said the best previews had to be for a movie. In fairness though, the first time I saw this preview was at the theater when I went to see Miami Vice this summer.
