Whoa! Whats this then? The seventh redesign in the life of friskygeek.com! I do a redesign almost every year it seems… I have to say of all the designs, Im happiest with this one - its clean and goes well with the design of my photoblog.

So the long-awaited redesign is finally live… Er, sort of. There are loads of things that are still broken, but I decided that I’d rather just get this out there. Take a look around and please update your RSS feeds. I’ve set up a mod_rewrite from the old index.xml feed to the new one but I imagine its better if you updated it. I also need to make this site look better in IE and Safari. Not surprisingly, it looks best at the moment in Firefox.

The Random Linkage to the right is a new feature. It replaces my old “Linkage for a Tuesday…” posts that I used to post, because oftentimes I come across a link that I think is worth sharing, but it doesn’t quite deserve its own post, so those types of links will go to the right. The Now Playing on friskyRadio pulls in live data from friskyRadio and displays whats currently playing there. I still need to port over the Links section.

With friskyGeek.com v7.0, I am finally MT-free and have also jumped the fence and joined the Wordpress bandwagon! So please leave a comment so that I know comments work and oh, let me know what you think of the design!
