I disagree, Sir. What is a no-brainer is that you’re an idiot!

There are still countless detainees held in secret prisons all over the world - where they are no doubt subjected to the most inhumane treatment a human being could face. Now if it was 100% certain that these were real terrorists, I would be the first one to say hell ya, burn ‘em to hell. But countless of them have been proven to be innocent. When there is even a shadow of a doubt, we must tread carefully.

According to this story, interrogators even threatened to harm detainees’ children, sometimes as young as 5 or 7 years old. I highly recommend you read that story.

In his poignant essay, Kevin Tillman, brother of a soldier that died in Iraq says:

Somehow America has become a country that projects everything that it is not and condemns everything that it is.

I couldn’t agree with that more. How come the country that shoves freedom and fairness down people’s throats do the exact opposite of the very values it supposedly stands for?

America, stop saying that your country is the ‘Greatest Country in the World’ and start acting like one that could very well be. It has the potential - but the current thugs in the administration have hijacked what America is all about.

Lets hope the Democrats can take back the House and Senate and start Bush’s Impeachment proceedings as soon as possible. Lets hope we can get rid of the Puppet on 10 Downing Street and replace him with a Real Man that has the balls to actually listen to his own people and bring back all British troops from the Illegal War. Lets also hope that the Democrats in the US have the balls to stand up for whats right, and that we are not just replacing one evil with another.
