Banksy is quite possibly one of my favourite artists. Because he’s a genius. You will too, after you check out pics of his latest work, showcased this weekend in his Los Angeles show “Barely Legal.” I wish I could have gone, because I would have loved to try and buy one of his pieces of artwork, not that I would be able to afford any… But its a thought. And I know exactly the piece I would buy.Glad Brad Pitt has good taste, as he’s been reported as having bought “several pieces.” Good man.

Pandora says that it would rather shut its doors rather than bow down to the RIAA and pay royalties. I say good for them. However, I never quite got all the hoopla about Pandora. Ive used Pandora probably about 2 times ever since it went live 6+ years ago. If I wanted to have my own radio station I would have started one myself. Oh that’s right! I did.

By now Im sure you all know about the .10 second victory that Phelps had over Serbian swimmer Cavic last night in Beijing. Click here to see a frame by frame view of how he did it. I didnt watch it of course because Im boycotting the Olympics - but I wish I had seen this swim live.

Whats amazing is how well the Silver medalist is taking it. I have to admit if this was me, I would have been devastated, having lost the gold medal by such a narrow margin. He wrote in his blog today:

“Success!! I did it!!! I won an Olympic medal everybody! On winning a SILVER medal: I am completely happy, and still in complete disbelief that I was able to achieve this feat! I’m not joking… It’s a tough loss, but I’m on cloud nine. I congratulated Phelps and his coach Bob Bowman. I’m just glad the race was fun to watch for everyone. It was a pleasure for me, really.”

Thats how one becomes a champion - being gracious in defeat.
