Wish I could spare some right now…

I’ve been telling people about this for a few years already (Africa being my specialty of course), but they don’t really give a fuck. Anyway, all this money giving ain’t gonna help unless something structurally changes out there mate…most of the food and medicine doesn’t even reach the people (after 75% of the donations has been used up on salaries and infrastructure to get it there): most of the transports get hijacked out there, and are in effect sustaining the groups that keep the area hijacked by force.

I like your concern with this stuff though, since it (among other things) defines you as a person
