It never ceases to amaze me how many people see friskyRadio, check it out and and then say, “hey this looks easy, I want one too!”

How do I say this without coming off as an asshole or aloof?

If these people really think that they can start a radio station and immediately start seeing connections on their stream after a week or two and grow into a real Radio Station, then they are smoking some really good weed and I’d say pass it on as I want some of that as well. It has taken me 4 years to get the kind of listener numbers that we are currently enjoying at the moment. It has taken me a lot of my own money to get here, without much help from anyone… It has taken me precious time and energy to cultivate this station, and make it into what it is today. Something like this doesnt happen overnight.

They go ahead and start the Radio stream anyway, and complain, hey, we started this, so where are the listeners??? They expect their numbers to be at 400 - 500 listeners on the first month… I say dream on. Besides, it doesnt just take a stream - you have to fll it with content, and if youre not playing good kick ass music, then might as well forget about it. Then they realise that its waay too much work, or it costs way too much. And then they shut it down. Well, I could have saved them a lot of time and told them to forget it.

Yes, Im coming off as arrogant, but Im allowed to be so, as I have earned it. But its not over yet. Not by a long shot. I will not stop until friskyRadio is Number One… And it will happen. Stay tuned, bitches!
