Ooopps!

April 28th, 2005

I did’nt realise until I got to work today that today was ‘Take Your Kids to Work Day’! It wouldnt have mattered so much, had I not chosen this day to wear my “FUCK WORK” T-shirt!!! I spent the entire day trying to hide my t-shirt from kids and trying to not make eye […]

Airbus 380

April 27th, 2005

I have always favoured Airbus over Boeing jetliners and today Airbus debuted their A380 superliner. A twin storeyed monster of a jet! Its freaking huge. Whats amazing is that, even though it has a wider wingspan, and of course weighs more, it really doesnt take much more run way length than a typical 747-400. […]

Its out. If you cant see the new site - its probably because the DNS servers have not propagated yet. Just wait a few hours and come back. Its worth it.

What a race!!!

April 24th, 2005

WOW!!! One of the best races I have ever seen. The last 20-odd laps were nail-bitingly good and I was literally on the edge of my seat! Fuckin; WOW! Props to Schumacher for running a great race - but the man of the hour was Alonso, like I had predicted. This man is on […]

Formula One

April 23rd, 2005

So Formula One is back in Europe this weekend… Who would have thought that that Renault would be in first place and Toyota (TOYOTA!!!) in second place after three races! Those arrogant pricks at Ferrari must be wondering what hit them. Such is the arrogance of this team in red that they started the […]

I want one too!

April 22nd, 2005

It never ceases to amaze me how many people see friskyRadio, check it out and and then say, “hey this looks easy, I want one too!”
How do I say this without coming off as an asshole or aloof?
If these people really think that they can start a radio station and immediately […]

Die Flash Die

April 20th, 2005

Have to agree with Stephen here. now that Adobe bought Macromedia, I hope Flash dies a horrible, ugly death very very soon. Flash has its place on the web and I think Flash, if used sparringly and correctly, can make sites look great (as you will see in the upcomming version 3 release of […]

An Israeli army officer who fired the entire magazine of his automatic rifle into a 13-year-old Palestinian girl and then said he would have done the same even if she had been three years old was acquitted on all charges by a military court yesterday.

What would make the Israeli Terrorist say such a thing? Because they are not human but are the scum of the Earth.

If you want to know what a joke and utter piece of shit Sarah Palin really is, you need to read Vanity Fair’s devastating profile of the woman. An amazing insight into the mind of Palin.

Once, while Sarah was preparing for a city-council meeting, she said, ‘I’m gonna put on one of my push-up bras so I can get what I want tonight.’ That’s how she rolls.”

Gmail is rolling out “Priority Inbox” a Facebook-like feature that predicts what emails are most important to you.

As messages come in, Gmail automatically flags some of them as important. Gmail uses a variety of signals to predict which messages are important, including the people you email most (if you email Bob a lot, a message from Bob is probably important) and which messages you open and reply to (these are likely more important than the ones you skip over).

I dont like Facebook telling me who my friends are, and Im not sure I like Gmail telling me what email is more important. I will just have to see how it works once I start seeing the Priority Inbox feature on my Gmail account.

Guy travels world for 3 years visiting 70 countries in total. This is his account.

On March 13, 2007, I handed over the keys to my house, put my possessions in storage and headed out to travel around the world with nothing but a backpack, my laptop and a camera.

As everyone knows, Im a bit of a wine snob. Here’s an excellent list of tips on how to order wine in a restaurant. This is true Ive seen some wine snobs do this and it makes me sick:

Save the slurping and gargling for Napa Valley tasting rooms and morning mouthwash. Try not to turn the stomachs of your guests with primitive rituals.
