the latest iPod shuffle is such a joke! $99 for what is basically a 512MB flash drive with a chip and a decoder. And you dont even get control over the playlist! I could write a fucking perl script that does what this thing does! I bet it costs Apple nothing more than $40 to make these things and they are selling them at an obscene profit. I’ll stick with my iPod and iPod mini (yes, I have both) thank you.

iRipOff is another good title.

What’s your take on the mac mini? Almost the same marketing concept but seems to be a nice machine. Of course after upgrading the RAM you might as well get the real deal. I’m mainly PC but am looking to make the crossover, real soon.

good point jyo, the mac mini is a pretty cool - looking box (i dont know if youve seen it) and it certainly looks cool as a media center in your living room, for example. but it stops there as its hardly a power center for computing.

i wouldnt buy a mac mini for your post processing needs of your photography. Photoshop is a memory whore and even though the mac mini is expandable, by the time you expand it, the price is almost close to a decent G4.

Yeah, and where do you get Warez for a Mac anyway? I would have to actually go out and buy Photoshop to use on a Mac. Yikes!

Yea. Totally agree. BUY software???? frisky doesnt BUY software! Im also against *all* kinds of software patents also. software should be free and for everyone.

The San Pelligrino 50 Best Restaurants in the World list is better than the Michelin list, and their 2012 ratings are right on. Per Se at 6 and not surprisingly Eleven Madison Park jumps from 24 to 10! It is that good. I expect it to be in the Top 5 next year for sure. Another one to watch out for next year: Atera in New York.

Couldnt agree with this more… Apple should buy Foursquare and Square:
