Runaway Jury: As a huge John Grisham fan, I always thought that Runaway Jury was his best work. It kept me literally on the edge when I read it long into the nights… So I was especially excited when I heard they’d be making this into a movie. Whats more, I was even more excited when I read the names in the cast… So I saw it tonight.
They changed quite a lot for the screenplay, but it kept nicely to the main plot of the book, which was great. Gene Hackman and Dustin Hoffman were brilliant as usual, especially in that scene when they are in the bathroom (It reminded me of Robert DiNero vs. Al Pacino scene in Heat.) It had the same intensity. Another cool thing about this movie were all the familiar faces! They were everywhere! I loved this movie! 4 friskyStars!
